Bluesky TTRPG Starter Packs Directory

The blue Bluesky butterfly logo sits atop a grey textured background. Superimposed over the butterfly is a yellow d20. The text reads "Bluesky TTRPG Starter Packs"

PJ Coffey from Homebrew and Hacking did some amazing work collecting a large selection of TTRPG Starter Packs for Bluesky. You can view PJ’s original thread here.

With PJ’s permission, I’ve mirrored their list here, and added about 50 additional starter packs that have been created since then. I’ve tried to maintain PJ’s original structure, but I’ve rearranged a couple things for more clarity.

Using TTRPG Starter Packs

The packs listed below were chosen primarily to provide a broad scope of the types of packs available to the TTRPG Bluesky community. It isn’t intended to be a comprehensive list of every TTRPG pack out there (there are hundreds!).

You can use the Bluesky Directory to search for words or tags if you don’t find something specific listed here.

Bluesky Starter Packs contain anywhere from 8 to 150 users. Bluesky allows you to follow all on a Starter Pack, but I generally recommend looking through the pack’s members and manually deciding who you want to follow.

A pack’s presence on the lists below isn’t an endorsement of quality. Packs may contain problematic individuals who do not align with your worldview. Use your own judgement.

How To Get Added To a TTRPG Starter Pack

Most packs will mention in their description how to request inclusion in the pack (usually by messaging the creator). However, some pack creators choose to add their own selections and do not accept requests. Generally speaking, don’t request to be added to a pack if you’ve never interacted with the creator, unless it has a particularly narrow theme.
